Simple to use
BlackBerry® International Roaming is available on all BlackBerry® mobile handsets. Once you activate it with one phone call to Telstra, connection to the local network at your destination occurs automatically. You are then ready to voice call, SMS and MMS where available, and receive incoming calls and messaging on your regular phone number.

Stay connected
International Roaming is available in many countries for BlackBerry® devices where Telstra has arrangements with local carriers including:

• GSM mobile phone network access available
• 3G mobile phone network access available (on selected devices only)

BlackBerry® handset operates over the Telstra Digital GSM network and Next G™ network (on selected devices only) and can operate in other countries with compatible GSM networks and 3G networks (on selected devices only).

Using, sending or taking a BlackBerry® handset out of Australia may breach the laws of a foreign country. This is partly due to laws regulating the importation, exportation and use of the encryption software within a BlackBerry® handset. These laws vary widely from country to country.

Consequently, you are only permitted to use your BlackBerry® handset in, or send or take your BlackBerry® to those countries listed above. Telstra will update this list from time to time.
