SMS access manager

SMS Access Manager makes sending and receiving large volumes of SMS text messages efficient and cost effective, improving productivity and efficiency.

Overview

You already know that SMS provides a simple way of staying in touch.

Telstra SMS Access Manager makes sending and receiving large volumes of SMS text messages efficient, and cost effective. SMS Access Manager allows you to use your own SMS enabled application to directly access the Telstra Mobile SMS network and send or receive bulk messages.

SMS Access Manager can be used in a number of ways to improve productivity and efficiency. This could be by sending messages simultaneously to a mobile sales or technical workforce. Or it could be to receive bulk incoming messages in response to a consumer competition.

If your business doesn't currently have text messaging software, you may prefer Telstra Desktop Messaging, or Telstra Integrated Messaging, where the messaging application/capability is provided for you.

SMS Access Manager can be used to improve and enhance business and consumer communication - including job dispatch, permission marketing, consumer competitions and information transfer

Take the example of a large transport company. Keeping in contact and tracking each delivery vehicle can be costly and time consuming. With the right software application and direct access to Telstra's Mobile SMS network, such a company could notify drivers of a new dispatch or pick up via SMS. SMS Access Manager could save your business time while minimising costs.

There are some important restrictions on how you can use SMS Access Manager. SMS Access Manager should not be used for time based initiatives that may result in a sudden peak of message traffic to the Telstra Mobile SMS network. In addition, your use of SMS Access Manager must comply with all applicable laws, industry standards and codes.
