Voice2Text is a MessageBank service which converts voice messages into text messages and sends them directly to your mobile handset.

With Voice2Text your business can:

• React quickly to important missed calls – messages are converted to text and sent directly to your mobile phone
• Have important caller information on-hand - the caller’s number is sent with text message
• Access original voicemails – you can also listen to the original voice message by dialling 101

Read messages instantly
Voice2Text converts messages to text so you can read them without having to dial and wait for MessageBank. You can still listen to original voice messages by dialling 101 as you normally would.

Access important caller information
The caller’s number is sent with the message so you can call or text back straight away, unless the number is withheld. You can keep important messages and phone numbers and save them straight to your mobile phone.

Access messages discreetly
Voice2Text allows you to discreetly read messages at your convenience – in a meeting, in a noisy restaurant or in transit.

Receive voicemails as converted text messages

Features include:

• Works in conjunction with MessageBank – if you do not have an existing MessageBank mailbox, MessageBank will be activated along with Voice2Text
• Voicemail to text conversion - a received MessageBank 101 voicemail is converted and sent as text message
• Caller number included - the text message will appear to come from the number of the person who left you the message (unless caller was using a private number)
• Access original voicemail - dial 101 to listen to received messages (messages are stored for seven days from receipt)
• Quick conversion – on average it takes around 3.5 minutes for a message to be converted and sent
• Notification text replacement – a notification text to advise calling MessageBank101 to listen to the message if the voicemail can not be converted due to background noise, a foreign language or if the message was too long and had to be truncated in the SMS (up to three concatenated SMS are used to send a Voice2Text message)

Note: this service cannot be used in conjunction with certain other services including Call Select, MessageBank Combined, Memo and Memo Combined.
